Who Am I?

HI! My name is Liz Crighton and I have lived in the Baix Ebre region of Tarragona since 2016. 

I'm a Scots-woman with a passion for health and well-being who spent 30 years as a Complementary Health Practitioner. 

I love to support people's health but I discovered my true Soul Mission & strength is to support people through dying and death. 

I'm straight-talking with a cheerful positive disposition and a dry sense of humour, I hold up well in difficult situations.

I Can Help You Deal With Death And Dying

I can help you at any point - from a dying prognosis to your deathbed and right through until after the funeral ceremony.

As a Soul Midwife I lead dying people through the physical and emotional process and transition.. 

I can hold your hand (literally as well as figuratively) through the dying process

to make sure you and your family are as prepared as can be for you to leave this life.

As a Celebrant I can guide you or your family from the moment of death. 

I speak Spanish so can talk with Funeral Directors and walk everyone through the formalities and paperwork. 

Celebrants are able to conduct funerals or memorials (almost) anywhere and can be booked directly.

You do NOT need to use the person that the Funeral Directors suggest, however liaise with me first before setting a date. 

What Are My Qualifications?

I am a Soul MIdwife who trained with the award-winning Felicity Warner and the award-winning Katie Costello.

A member of the Academy of Professional Celebrants.

I have FABULOUS news for the people in our area! 

With most funerals having to take place within 48 hours in Spain I'm delighted to announce that I have an agreement 

with the local crematoria here in my region of Catalonia (Benicarlo to Mora) and they are happy to extend to a week.

This will allow your family & friends time to book decent flights and hotels & arrange dog-sitters or emergency passports if needed.   

However we still need to act fast to make sure we can create the best version of your person's funeral, so please contact me ASAP.

I will work quickly and closely with you and the family to capture and honour your person's unique history and character.

Together we can create a memorable, heart-warming and poignant ceremony to bring comfort and closure..
